Jean Rhodes

  

Jean obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2007 through a continuing adult program at Eastern Illinois University, majoring in Family and Consumer Science with a minor in Psychology. 


Jean Started her work background through several years in banking. She gained experience in book keeping, banking transactions, and proofing daily transactions. She managed a small business office where she oversaw administrative operations which involved: customer service orders, dispatching, book keeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable


Jean later accepted work in the county courthouse and worked as a legal secretary in the court system for 14 years. Her duties involved preparing legal case files, conducting background checks, investigation researches and presentence reports; project management of the county child support program; and communicating with other county and city departments in a team like effort to organize legal proceedings.


Jean ventured into Social Work affiliated with DCFS, which helped strengthen her skills in advocacy and documentation along with time management.  Her work  involved taking on  assigned family cases, learning of their needs, documenting interactions between family members; assisting with community resources for families and providing family counseling through discussion and research.

  

After returning to her native town of Boerne, TX she joined the staff at Covenant Services in 2011. She has gained the title of Client Service Director providing  payroll and human resource services tailored for a wide variety of assigned business clients with varying procedures to provide on-time and accurate payroll.


 With her experience in administrative and customer service, Jean has expanded her knowledge in the payroll and human resource field as she assists employers  with payroll, certified payroll, and employee matters such as disciplinary actions and documentation; terminations, job performance evaluations and handling of unemployment claims with detailed responses to Texas Workforce Commission on Unemployment claims.
